CDYC is very excited about this season's new partnership with the Carolina Renaissance Festival! Our volunteers can now sign up to volunteer for shifts as a cashier or in the "back of house" (kitchen/cook).

Confirmation emails will be sent on Monday's prior to the upcoming week-end.
Scholarships are based on an hourly rate of $15 for an 8 hour 9:15 - 5:45 shift.
If you do not arrive on time, it is a possibility that all of the positions could be filled for the day, and you would be turned away. You may also be asked to leave early, as some locations begin preparing to close once the crowd thins. You may need to be direct with the coordinators when they are logging your volunteer hours for the day.
Volunteers must be 16 or older, and should be accompanied by a parent or guardian if under 18
Volunteering at the Renaissance Festival is independent, and we trust that you well represent CDYC to the best of your ability. You will be given guidance and support from the Ren Fest employees upon arrival. You may be partnerned with other CDYC volunteers, but will not necessarily be working in a group setting like other venues. We suggested signing up with a buddy!
We welcome any feedback that you may have in regards to your volunteer experience with Ren Fest.

However, this does not seem to be
strictly enforced. This may have been stated
in regards to the cash transactions.
